Clarke discuss IPL playing deal

March 26 - Australia captain Michael Clarke has confirmed he is joining Indian Premier League Pune Warriors team; he is said reports on Monday.

Clarke told reporters before leaving Sunday to join the Australian team in the West Indies that his management was negotiate with Pune Warriors to play in the IPL.The Australia skipper stay behind and missed the ODI series in the Caribbean to treat a constrain injury. That chance has been presented to my management company and I, Clarke was quoted in reporters Monday.

Right now they're discuss it. We will continue to talk about that and make a decision in due course. But my focus right now is to create sure I get back and play some good cricket for Australia. Clarke has so extreme resisted the lure of playing in the rich contest but came close in 2009 before retreating from the IPL auction to focus on playing for Australia.

Last week former India Test captain Sourav Gangly, who is the Pune club skipper, confirmed that the authorization was poised to secure the services of Clarke in May. Australian Test players will miss the 1st 3 weeks of the Indian domestic match but will be available for the last month of May.

Clarke said he had come through a strong couple of weeks of treatment in large shape and would be ready for the 1st Test against the West Indies in Barbados, starting on April 7.
